Ohio High School Basketball Sectional Tourny Draw Boys 2019

CHILLICOTHE – With the girls' tournaments starting this week, we now know the draws for the boys high school basketball tourneys.

All our local teams in Division I, Division II, and Division III received their tournament draws on Sunday as they now know their paths for a possible district title. Here are their draws.

Division I

Chillicothe earned a 14 seed in the Division I Central District bracket and has a bye to the sectional final. They will play the winner of Walnut Ridge and Marysville at 7 p.m. on March 1 and the site is not yet determined. If they win, they will play the winner of Whitehall-Yearling's game with either Newark or Central Crossing in the district semifinals at 7 p.m. on March. 6.

Division II

Zane Trace earned a one seed in the Division II Southeast District bracket. They have a bye to the sectional final and will play the winner of eight-seeded Hillsboro and nine-seeded Miami Trace at 7 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Southeastern High School. If they win, they will play the winner of four-seeded Athens and five-seeded Logan Elm for the district semifinal at 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 28 at OU's Convocation Center.

Unioto earned a six seed in the same bracket and will play three-seeded Washington in the sectional final at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 at Southeastern. If they win, they will play the winner of two-seeded Fairfield Union's game with either seven-seeded Marietta or 10-seeded Westfall in the district semifinal at 8 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the Convo.

Westfall earned a 10-seed in the same bracket and will play seven-seeded Marietta in the sectional semifinal at 8 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Logan High School. If they win, they will play two-seeded Fairfield Union in the sectional final at 3 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Logan.

Waverly earned a five seed in the opposite Division II Southeast District bracket and they will play four-seeded McClain in the sectional final at 6 p.m. on Feb. 22 at Southeastern. If they win, they will play the winner of one-seeded Sheridan's game with either eight-seeded Circleville or nine-seeded New Lexington in the district semifinal at 6:15 p.m. on March 1 at the Convo.

Division III

Adena earned a one seed in the Division III Southeast District bracket and will have a bye to the sectional final. They will play the winner of eight-seeded Portsmouth and nine-seeded West at 6 p.m. on Feb. 22 at Waverly. If they win, they will play in the district semifinal at 3 p.m. on March 2 at the Convo.

Eastern Pike earned a two seed in the same bracket and will play 15-seeded Wellston in the sectional semifinal at 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Jackson High School. If they win, they will play the winner of seven-seeded Chesapeake and 10-seeded Belpre in the sectional final at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Jackson.

Western earned a three seed in the same bracket and will play 14-seeded Northwest in the sectional semifinal at 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Waverly High School. If they win, they will play the winner of six-seeded West Union and 11-seeded Huntington in the sectional final at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Waverly.

Huntington earned an 11 seed and will play six-seeded West Union in the sectional semifinal at 8 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Waverly. If they win, they will play the winner of Western and Northwest in the sectional final at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Waverly.

Piketon earned a five seed in the opposite bracket and will play 12-seeded Lynchburg-Clay in the sectional semifinal at 8 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Waverly. If they win, they will play the winner of four-seeded North Adams and 13-seeded Southeastern in the sectional final at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Waverly.

Paint Valley earned a seven seed in the same bracket as Piketon and will play 10-seeded Valley in the sectional semifinal at 8 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Waverly. If they win, they will play two-seeded Eastern Brown in the sectional final at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 at Waverly.

Southeastern earned a 13 seed in the same bracket and will play four-seeded North Adams in the sectional semifinal at 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Waverly. If they win, they will play the winner of Piketon and Lynchburg Clay in the sectional final at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Waverly.
